Jude Lemfani Abaga, popularly known as M.I Abaga, a Nigerian rapper and record producer, has announced his engagement to Eniola Mafe, his sweetheart.
MI Abaga, who previously dated Erica Okundaye, a former beauty pageant runner-up, announced this on his Instagram page on Sunday, along with a video of his activist soon-to-be bride and their love story.
He then went on to tell his fans that they will be walking down the aisle this year, and he asked for their prayers and support as they prepare.
“I’m a private person. But it’s time to share a little part of my joy with you. @eniolamafe and I met in Dec 2020 and straight away I knew I had found the one,” MI Abaga wrote.
He also added, “I am excited to announce that we are getting married this year.. and we ask for your support and blessings as we embark on this journey together. ♥️.”
The “Crowd Mentality” crooner also narrated that Eniola was introduced to him by Audu Maikori of Choccity about two years ago.
Eniola Mafe is a World Economic Forum strategist and international development leader, as well as the founder of New Nigeria, a group created in the aftermath of the #Endsars protests across the country.
Eniola is the creator of New Nigeria, a group that was created in the aftermath of the country’s #EndSARS protests.
She graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C. with a Master of Arts degree.
She is also the co-founder of TWC and SecureFarmer.com, a social enterprise that develops the next generation of farmers using precision data, mechanization, and technology.
She is a World Economic Forum Global Leadership Fellow. She led the Niger Delta Partnership Initiative (NDPI) foundation from 2013 to 2018.
She worked with Vital Voices Global Partnership in Washington as the Africa Program Manager. She formerly worked in Ghana for Women’s World Banking and in New York for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
However, the pair has not set a specific date for their wedding.
