Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has cleared the air on her refusal for Wizkid to carry her while performing at the O2 concert in London. She reassured her love for Wizkid, stating that it’s not going to change.
She said this in a video that surfaced on Friday, where she was performing their hit song, ‘Essence.’
The performance which was held on Wednesday at the sold-out O2 Arena saw Wizkid inviting Tems on stage to perform their hit song, Essence.
Tems reacting to the now controversial video expressed gratitude to Big Wiz and all he stands for while noting he’s a brother she holds in high esteem.
She said: “All I’m going to say Wizkid is my brother someone I look up to and I’m grateful for everything he’s done and his existence.
She concluded they are both humans and her love for him will never change.
“I want you guys to remember that he’s human, I’m human, and I love him, and that’s not gonna change.”
