The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has suspended actor Moses Armstrong following allegations that he raped a 16-year-old girl in Akwa Ibom.
Moses Armstrong was arrested by state police officers after a complaint was lodged against him. Confirming his detention, the guild’s president, Emeka Rollas, stated that the case was being addressed by the state’s First Lady, Martha Udom Emmanuel, through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.
Moses has been suspended and barred from acting until the inquiry into the claim is completed, according to a statement released today, Saturday, June 15, and signed by its publicity secretary, Monalisa Chinda-Coker.
